The Organizing Committee, therefore, has decided to extend the application deadline until 5th June 2015 in order to accommodate all the interested parties. Kindly forward us all the required documents and flight itineraries in order for us to consider and proceed with your application.

Report - Youth Run for Peace and Sustainability

We are pleased to herewith circulate the report for the Youth Run: For Peace and Sustainability that took place on 18th April 2015 in Melaka River Square (Dataran Sungai Melaka) Melaka, Malaysia.

This event was organised by WAY in collaboration with Melaka State Government, Majlis Bandaraya Melaka Bersejarah (MBMB), Melaka State Youth Council, Sahabat Belia Kerajaan Negeri Melaka and various educational institutions.

We also would like to express our utmost gratitude to Youth Service America (YSA) for inviting WAY to partner this event in commemoration of the Global Youth Service Day (GYSD), which took place 17th to 19th of April, 2015. Our appreciation also goes to all sponsors, contributors, volunteers and the organizing committee. Without the efforts and hard works from all, the success of this event would not have been possible.

WAY Page 09We are pleased to inform you that the 15th Melaka International Youth Dialogue with the theme ‘Youth and Armed Conflict: To Express Without A Fear, To Progress Without A Threat’ will be held from 22nd to 24th June 2015 in Melaka, Malaysia. This programme is organised by the World Assembly of Youth in collaboration with the Melaka State Government, Malaysian Youth Council, Asian Youth Council and Ministry of Youth and Sports, Malaysia.

This theme has been selected to fulfil the principal opinions and roles of young people towards combatting armed conflict and promoting sustainable conflict free environment for all. An interactive dialogue on this topic will be of significance to form, educate, increase awareness on the challenges and entitlements of youth in the different levels of society that they represent.

 We, therefore, wish to extend this invitation to you and your organization to partake in this prosperous dialogue. Given that your expertise directly or indirectly relates to the theme, it would be extremely valuable to have your inputs and comments considering the issue of armed conflict and its effects to the society.
