We are pleased to inform you that the National Council of Youth Organizations in Korea (NCYOK) and World Assembly of Youth (WAY) are jointly organizing the annual event, 25th International Youth Forum with selected theme “Youth and World Peace”. The Forum is going to take place from 20 to 27 August, 2014 in Seoul and Muju, Republic of Korea.

We call upon all qualified youth and youth leaders to apply and participate in this Forum.

We are pleased to inform that various youth leaders and organizations have expressed very high interest towards participating in our dialogue, 14th Melaka International Youth Dialogue (MIYD) with the theme Youth and Education: 'Taking Action, Getting Results' scheduled to take place from 23rd to 25th of June 2014 in Permaisuri (MITC) Hotel Melaka, Malaysia.

The Organizing Committee, therefore, has decided to extend the application deadline until the end of this month, 30th May 2014 in order to accommodate all the interested parties. Kindly forward us all the required documents and flight itineraries in order for us to consider and proceed with your application.

Invitation to the 14th Melaka International Youth Dialogue 'Youth and Education: Taking Action, Getting Results', 23rd to 25th June 2014

We are pleased to inform you that the 14th Melaka International Youth Dialogue with the theme 'Youth and Education: Taking Action, Getting Results' will be held from 23rd to 25th June 2014 in Melaka, Malaysia. This programme is organized in collaboration with the Melaka State Government, Malaysian Youth Council, Asian Youth Council and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Malaysia.

This theme has been selected to fulfil the principal opinions and roles of young people towards the Post 2015 Development Agenda on education. An interactive dialogue on this topic will be of significance to form, educate, increase awareness on the challenges and entitlements of youth in the different levels of society that they represent.

We, therefore, wish to extend this invitation to you and your organization to partake in this prosperous dialogue. Given that your expertise directly or indirectly relates to the theme, it would be extremely valuable to have your inputs and comments considering the issue of education that affects all levels of society, the environment and our sustenance.

13th MIYD Declaration

We are pleased to circulate herewith a copy of the final Declaration for the 13th Melaka International Youth Dialogue (MIYD) "Youth Migration: A Step From Haven" that was held from 12th to 14th of September 2013 at the Hang Tuah World Heritage Hotel in Melaka, Malaysia.

The 13th MIYD, was organized by WAY in collaboration with the Melaka State Government, Asian Youth Council, Malaysian Youth Council and Ministry of Youth and Sports (Malaysia). After thorough deliberations through paper presentations, plenary sessions, workshops and field trips, the participants put together this important outcome document, addressed to all the stakeholders to ensure that the rights of various categories of youth migrants are acknowledged and protected. All in all, more than 200 youth and youth leaders from over 40 countries, participated and contributed in this monumental dialogue.

With this, we trust that rights of youth migrants will be recognized, and we urge all stakeholders to take the necessary action at a global level, accordingly.
