WAY Satellite Event - Pangkor International Development Dialogue

We are pleased to inform you that the WAY Satellite Event, ‘Youth Role in Marching Towards Attainment of the Global Goals’ will be held on 20th October 2015 @ Casuarina @ Meru Hotel in Ipoh, Perak Darul Ridzuan, Malaysia. This programme is organised by World Assembly of Youth (WAY), hosted by Pangkor International Development Dialogue (PIDD) and supported by Institut Darul Ridzuan and Perak State Government.

This theme has been selected to bring awareness and educate all stakeholders, young people inclusive, on how youth can be a useful contributor and play a prominent role in not only promoting sustainability but also actualizing it in more rigorous action. Through this theme, we would like to inform young people on their role and involvement in making this world better for all of us, a sustainable tomorrow.

Report - 15th Melaka International Youth Dialogue, 'Youth and Armed Conflict: To Express Without A Fear, To Progress Without A Threat'

We are pleased to herewith circulate the report for the 15th Melaka International Youth Dialogue with the selected theme, 'Youth and Armed Conflict: To Express Without A Fear, To Progress Without A Threat’ that took place on 22nd to 24th June 2015 at Kings Green Hotel in Melaka, Malaysia.

This dialogue was organised by WAY in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Malaysia), Melaka State Government, Asian Youth Council and Malaysian Youth Council.

1st Annual Transforming Leadership Worldwide Conference and Arts/Music Festival

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Chet W. Sisk, the WAY Global Leadership Development Specialist, has created three opportunities for jobs, partnerships, social enterprise and a whole new approach to leadership.

In partnership with WAY and CO-LEAD, we are hereby announcing the 1st Annual Transforming Leadership Worldwide Conference and Arts/Music Festival to be held on 8th, 9th and 10th October 2015 in Denver, Colorado, USA. The conference shall combine networking with project presentations, hip hop music, slam poets and inspirational speakers. The conference is schedule to take please on the beautiful Auraria Campus of the University of Colorado, in the heart of downtown Denver, USA. The conference focus is on new leadership models that emphasis new models of leadership that utilize connectedness, sustainability, vision, job creation and personal empowerment. The conference will be preceded by a 60 day virtual internship (August and September) for a limited number of students interested in developing projects around sustainability, social enterprise, the sharing economy, feminine principle leadership, food security, lateral organizations and collective impact. The CO-LEAD Masterclass online leadership training class is set to begin on July 17th. This class is a weekly webinar that allows youth to talk to leaders, activists, CEOs and other looking to find employees, partners and collaborators on projects that emphasize sustainability, vision, connectedness, food security, community wealth building and personal development.
