Ms. Ediola Pashollari is of Albanian nationality and holds a Masters in Business Administration (UK), a Masters of Arts in Political Science (UK), a Masters in Entreprenology (USA) and also a Bachelors Degree in LLB (UK). She is presently the Secretary General of the World Assembly of Youth (WAY) which is headquartered in Melaka, Malaysia. Through her capacity as the Secretary General of WAY and the Director of the World Youth Institute (WYI), she is responsible for the administration of the Secretariat and coordination of regional and international programmes and events. She is also the liaison for the membership and affiliate organizations, representative of the organization at the United Nations, intergovernmental and non-governmental platforms, and ministries responsible for youth. She coordinates humanitarian and relief programmes around the world and reports to the President, Executive Committee, and General Assembly.
Ms. Soekmawati is of Indonesian nationality and holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration (Accounting). She is presently the Programme Officer at the World Assembly of Youth (WAY). The programme department at WAY engages in the coordination of day-to-day secretariat functions and administration. Beyond that, the programme coordinator works in liaison with the other departments, in preparation, directing events and programmes organized by the WAY Secretariat and member organisations. She is responsible for recruiting programme participants, speakers and volunteers. She also guides the development and recommendation of new programmes, goals and initiatives.
International Relations Officer
Ms. Kebareileng Matlhape is of Botswana nationality and holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration (Hons) International Business. She is currently the International Relations Officer at the World Assembly of Youth (WAY). Through her capacity as international relations officer of WAY, she is responsible for providing advice, guidance and substantive support to the Secretary General in the maintenance of relations with the WAY members, International and Regional NGOs, UN Agencies and Ministries responsible for youth. She is also responsible for facilitating and strengthening the partnership between WAY and its member organsiations. She liaises with all the WAY members and requests feedback on events, reports, publications, collaborations and other related aspects .
Mr. Arya Seraj is of Iranian nationality and holds a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology (Hons) Data Communications and Networking. He is the Volunteers Coordinator of WAY, therefore responsible for managing and maintaining the WAY Volunteers Programme and its data base, selecting and recruiting volunteers to help with organisation goals and objectives. He is also responsible for allocating tasks and duties to all volunteers in order to ensure the successful outcomes of the programmes and events organised by WAY secretariat.
Mr. Daberechi Jackson is of Nigerian nationality and holds a Bachelors Degree (Hons) in Information Technology, and is currently pursuing his Masters in Creative Multimedia M.Sc. (C.M). He is presently the Research Officer at the World Assembly of Youth (WAY). As the research officer, he is responsible to conduct research necessary for WAY and its Secretariat. He is also responsible to conduct research on youth issues, youth programmes and activities, and news related to youth, etc. In addition, he is responsible to design any artwork required by the WAY secretariat and also provide assistant in the maintenance of the organization’s database etc.
Ms. Dorothy Chipfunde is of Zimbabwean nationality and holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and Finance (Hons). Presently, she is the Publication Officer at the World Assembly of Youth (WAY). Through her capacity as the publication officer of WAY, she is responsible for conducting research and produce publication necessary for WAY and conducting research on areas of youth issues, youth programmes and activities, news related to youth, youth strategies and policies, members and other contacts database. She is in charge of compiling publication, such as news, bulletins, policies, press releases and updated youth issues.
Ms. Chua Mew Leng is of Malaysian citizen and holds a Private Secretary Certificate. She is presently the Administrative Assistant at the World Assembly of Youth (WAY). Her primary role in the organization is to render administrative support to the Secretary General for day to day running and administration of the WAY Secretariat. She is responsible in maintaining all accounting records and assisting in the preparation of Cashflow and payment vouchers on monthly basis. She is also in charge of listing the funds received from membership fees, loans, sponsorship, donations, etc.
