62nd Session Of The Commission For Social Development - CSocD62

The 62nd session of the Commission for Social Development (CSocD62) will focus on "Fostering social development and social justice through social policies to accelerate progress on the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and to achieve the overarching goal of poverty eradication".

The CSocD62 will focus on the emerging issue of "The Influence of Digital Transformation on Inclusive Growth and Development: A Path to Achieving Social Justice." The Commission will also commemorate the thirtieth anniversary of the International Year of the Family. The Commission will take place from 5 to 14 February 2024, in Conference Room 4 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The CSocD62 will be broadcasted live at: https://webtv.un.org/en.

The Commission has elected the following Bureau Members: H.E. Ms. Ruchira Kamboj, Permanent Representative of India as Chair of the 62nd Commission for Social Development, and Vice-Chairs: Ms. Carla María Carlson, Counsellor at the Permanent Mission of the Dominican Republic; H.E. Mr. Jon Ivanovski, Deputy Permanent Representative at the Permanent Mission of North Macedonia; Ms. Stéphanie Toschi, Counsellor at the Permanent Mission of Luxembourg; and Ms. Joslyne Kwishaka, Counsellor at the Permanent Mission of Burundi.
