Call for Application: Regional Youth Parliament on Climate Action (RYPCA)

Dear members,

Youth Empowerment on Climate Action Platform (YECAP), with its esteemed partners, is excited to introduce the Regional Youth Parliament on Climate Action (RYPCA). This initiative aims to harness the energy, creativity, diversity, and passion of young leaders to significantly influence climate policies at national and regional levels. RYPCA seeks to provide a robust platform for these leaders, focusing particularly on underrepresented areas such as National Adaptation Plans (NAPs) and Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). The program is designed to foster peer-to-peer exchanges on effective lobbying techniques and the implementation of ambitious climate policy strategies.

We would be honoured if you could nominate outstanding young individuals (aged 18-35) from your network in the region who are actively involved in climate political processes. Ideal candidates are those engaging with platforms such as Parliaments, State Assemblies, Youth Parliaments, Youth Councils, Parliamentary Caucuses, official climate negotiation processes, and various governmental consultative mechanisms.
