Introducing the Regional Youth Parliament on Climate Action Members 2024

We are pleased to introduce you to the inspiring Members of the Regional Youth Parliament on Climate Action (RYPCA) whose diverse expertise and commitment are driving transformative climate action in the Asia-Pacific region.

The Youth Empowerment in Climate Action Platform (YECAP), together with UNDP in Asia and the Pacific, Climate Parliament, Climate Parliament Bangladesh, The Earth, UNICEF East Asia-Pacific, UNICEF Regional Office for South Asia, UN Women, and the World Assembly of Youth (WAY), is pleased to introduce the 15 members of the Regional Youth Parliament on Climate Action (RYPCA) 2024 in Asia and the Pacific.

RYPCA aims to empower young people in the Asia-Pacific region to meaningfully engage in climate governance. It will provide a platform for young leaders to influence national and regional climate policies by participating, lobbing, and advising in political processes. The programme will also enhance youth roles in formulating and implementing climate strategies and fosters peer-to-peer exchanges and capacity building. Meet the inspiring Members of RYPCA here.
